How to Clean Carbon Steel WokĬarbon is another most preferred and popular wok by far. To avoid this, heat up a wok on medium heat for a while and when you become 100% that it become completely dry, cool it down and keep it wherever you want to. The wok can become a rusty if you keep water on it. The last step is optional and its up to you but we recommend you to follow this one also. Try to dry it completely and make sure all the water is gone before you store a wok in somewhere. Gently pat your wok down with a soft towel. The next step is to take a soft cloth and start rubbing down every part of your wok. 2- Wipe Your wok with a soft clothĪfter 10 min when you put it out of water, you will see that the wok loosed the bacteria and food. Keep the wok for 10 minutes in hot water and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. The hot water soaking allows to soften small food particles or the food which has been stick on the surface of the wok.
